This option allows you to make purchases while dividing the total cost into four equal payments. 2. Customer Rights:
- Clear and Transparent Information: Customers have the right to receive clear and transparent information regarding the payment schedule and the total amount due before confirming their purchase. The Services are intended solely for legal residents of one of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia and natural persons that are eighteen (18) years of age or are of the legal age in their state of residence. Further, your Afterpay account address must be a valid American residential address and not a P.O. Box. Any registration by, use of, or access to, the Services by any nonresident or person under 18 or under the legal age in their state of residence is unauthorized, unlicensed, and in violation of these Terms of Service. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you are a legal American resident and at least 18 years old or are of legal age in your state of residence. Afterpay will provide a detailed payment breakdown, including due dates and installment amounts.
- Payment Flexibility: You have the right to spread the cost of your purchase into four equal installments, due every two weeks. This provides financial flexibility without requiring the full amount upfront.
- No Interest or Hidden Fees: Customers are entitled to use Afterpay without incurring interest or hidden fees, provided all payments are made on time. Any fees applied due to late payments are disclosed upfront as part of Afterpay’s terms.
- Secure Data Handling: Your personal and financial information will be securely processed and stored in compliance with Filler Lux and Afterpay’s privacy and security protocols.
- Dispute Resolution Support: If there are issues with the service or discrepancies in payments, you have the right to seek support from Afterpay to resolve the matter promptly.
3. Service Eligibility and Account Requirements:
To use Afterpay’s installment service, customers must meet eligibility criteria, such as a minimum purchase amount and satisfactory account standing. Ensure that your payment and account information is accurate and up-to-date. Any changes to payment details should be communicated to Afterpay at least 24 hours before the next scheduled payment to avoid disruptions.
4. Payment Terms and Conditions:
Once your Afterpay installment plan is approved, the purchase amount will be split into four payments. The first installment is due at the time of purchase, and the remaining three will be automatically deducted from your payment method every two weeks. It is your responsibility to maintain adequate funds for each scheduled payment.
5. Modifications and Adjustments:
You may request modifications to your payment plan by contacting Afterpay before the next payment due date. Approval for such changes is at Afterpay’s discretion. Any updates to payment methods should be made promptly to prevent processing issues.
6. Late Payments and Penalties:
If a scheduled payment is missed, Afterpay may apply a late fee as specified in their terms. Repeated missed payments can lead to account restrictions, affecting your ability to use Afterpay for future purchases. Ensure your payment method has sufficient funds to meet all obligations.
7. Cancellations and Refunds:
Cancellations are only possible before the order is shipped. Once shipped, all scheduled payments must be completed.
