How Does Toxta Work?
Toxta makes use of Botulinium toxin type A. This component is quite well-known, as it is one of the most effective ingredients for localized muscle relaxation. This formulation is injected into the target muscle, which then blocks out the neurotransmitters, making sure that it has limited or no motion while the treatment is in effect. While the muscles are relaxed, the skin surround it is no longer folded or contracting constantly, allowing for the wrinkles that have formed to smoothen out and heal.
Treatment Details
Toxta should only be applied on patients by qualified medical professionals. Methods differ depending on the area being targeted. Toxta is injected directly into the tissue where the muscle that needs to be relaxed is, so that the area will stop moving allowing the wrinkles to smoothen out. The solution is injected into the dermis, and afterwards must be massaged gently to ensure proper distribution of Toxta.
How Long Does Toxta Last?
It depends on the physiology and lifestyle of the patient, but it reportedly lasts around 6 months.
